KC KIDS is a non-profit comprehensive school providing services to young children with special needs and their families. All of southeastern Fresno County (Selma, Sanger, Fowler, Sunnyside, Kingsburg, Parlier, Reedley, Orange Cove, Squaw Valley, and Dunlap) and parts of Tulare County (Visalia, Dinuba, and Orosi) receive support from KC KIDS. These services include specialized therapies (Special Education, OT, PT, Speech, Nursing, Mental Health, behavioral services) and are available to children who qualify and are provided at no cost to the family.  Each family has a primary service provider that supports the family by providing emotional support, case management and collaborating with families to maximize the interactions between these young children and their caregivers that will support their development.  KC KIDS includes specialized equipment loans, home visiting parent coaching, community literacy classes, parenting classes, and family support. Visit our website at http:/kckids.kcusd to learn more.

KC KIDS also collaborates with the Fresno County Library in 8 different locations to offer “Come Play with Me” literacy and play groups.  Caregivers attend weekly at their community library with their young children  to participate in literacy, play, movement, and sensory activities provided by the KC KIDS team.  “Come Play with Me” groups are open to all community members with young children.  No qualifications required or cost to attend.
